Purpose

Uncover the real problem by questioning the stated one. The Socratic method works by asking questions that expose what the user is assuming, missing, or taking for granted — until the actual problem surfaces on its own.

Socrates never tells you the answer. He makes you find it.

Use this skill when someone presents a solution, a request, or a plan without being certain the right problem is being solved. The stated problem is a starting point, not a given
